Built for the Mission.
AetherSight was founded by two U.S. Army veterans who saw a gap in the federal marketplace — agencies needed better data, faster delivery, and partners who understood the mission environment firsthand.
We built AetherSight to fill that gap: a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business that combines military intelligence discipline with enterprise analytics expertise to deliver real results for federal buyers.
The People Behind AetherSight
Two veterans. Decades of experience. One mission.
Brock Duffel brings Fortune 500 analytics expertise to the federal marketplace without the enterprise price tag.
Before co-founding AetherSight, Brock led business strategy and analytics teams across Fortune 500 retail, logistics, and healthcare companies. He served 15 years in U.S. Army Military Intelligence, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, and co-founded an AI/ML technology firm serving government and military applications.
His unique background — military intelligence, Fortune 500 analytics, and entrepreneurship — gives him the ability to turn fragmented data into actionable insights for federal agencies and the organizations that serve them.
Brock holds an MBA in Project Management and is PMP certified. He is currently writing Data Sense: What Every Business Owner Needs to Know About Analytics and AI.
Levi Hagedorn brings nearly two decades of experience across military intelligence, defense contracting, and fraud strategy and analytics to AetherSight.
Levi served as a Military Intelligence Analyst supporting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, including ISR management, all-source intelligence assessments, and counter-IED efforts across multiple deployments.
Following his military career, Levi built an extensive track record in financial fraud prevention and analytics — developing analytics programs at some of the largest financial institutions in the country that collectively prevent tens of millions of dollars in fraud losses annually. His work in counter-terrorist financing earned recognition from the Director of the FBI. He currently serves as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer focused on driving insights to prevent payments fraud.
Levi holds a Master's degree in Business Intelligence & Analytics, a Master's in Information Management, and is pursuing a third graduate degree in Computer Science.
